We had our seats upgraded!! Carole King and The Chicks, and the rest of the band, did not disappoint. Being a child of a mother who was often only interactive while listening to her Carole King records, I do have to thank and ask forgiveness, however, to all those around us. While my 3-30 something friends, and my 42 year old self, were among the youngest in the crowd, I enjoyed the concert beyond belief. As a found out last night, a few of my friends also enjoyed CK with their moms. I have always found joy in listening to her. We laughed, we cried, I cried to "So Far Away"/"Way Over Yonder", laughed and whooped it up during "Where You Lead" and hugged during "You've Got a Friend". Definitely a wonderful experience! The highlight did come when Security came and said we were being upgraded to the floor......
